Festo pinch valves control media flow using compressed air to squeeze an internal elastomer sleeve. When open, they provide full-bore flow without restrictions; when pressurized, internal bars pinch the sleeve shut to safely shut off abrasive, viscous, or particulate-heavy media.

VZQA

Pinch Valves
VZQH
The pinch valve VZQH is a hygienic, manually operated shut-off and dosing valve that combines the advantages of a ball valve and diaphragm valve in an innovative way.
- Manually operated 2/2-way valve for liquids, dusty media, solids and mixtures
- Closed at a lever position of 90°, secured by locking the blue safety element
- Automatic return to the closed position (NC) by spring force when the hand lever is released
- Can be latched every 15° via the blue safety element for an even media flow
- Can be secured against unintentional actuation
- Suitable for direct contact with food according to European Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004
